5 Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done,
the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.

Inside Cover - Colossians 3:16 (NLT)

16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives.

Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives.

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.

Below are some short excerpts on Nehemiah 9. Pastor Dan Thibault gives us a view of God through a Repentant Heart. The Lord never left the Jewish People in their Exodus from Egypt and He Honored and Fulfilled his Covenant with Abraham.

The Israelites remembered their history and made a summary of God’s past works reminding themselves of God’s great heritage and promises. (crib notes NIV). The Jewish people renewed the relationship with God.

Versus 1-3 The Israelites Confess Their Sins

Versus 4-6 The Israelites – Read the Book of the Law - “Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting.[a]”

Versus 7-12: The Israelites remembers God’s covenant with Abraham and God’s blessings and hand in their Exodus from Egypt as slaves.

Verse 13-15: The Lord gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments and Food to eat in journey.

Verses 16: The Israelites acknowledged their sins and refusal to obey God.

Verses 17-25: God protected Israel in it’s journey and honored his Covenant with Abraham and the Israelites took over the lands of the Canaanites and the county sides of Palestine.

Verse 38: The Agreement of the People

38 “In view of all this, we are making a binding agreement, putting it in writing, and our leaders, our Levites and our priests are affixing their seals to it.”[d]

O Come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
