By God’s design, the church must be devoted to the apostles teaching,

to fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayer.

Today we will be learning about the Breaking of Bread and Prayer.


3. Breaking of Bread


          a. Partaking “a meal” together.


          b. Partaking “communion” together.


          c. The breaking of bread together was vital for the Church to Fellowship together


          d. Celebrate together


          f.  Communion together


          g. Obey Jesus together


          h. Spend time together   


          i. Grow and Encourage one another together


4. The Prayers


          a. Prayer is “taking God at his Word”


          b. Prayer is “public”


          c. Prayer is “private”


          d. Prayer is “talking with God” – “affirming our dependence on God”


          e. Prayer is “powerful”


          f. Prayer is “daily”


          g. Prayer is “diligent” – “persistent”


          h. Prayer is “evidence of Spiritual Growth”
